Artist's Comments

A bit more of a close up, the magnifying glass helps read the crazy small text to set the day and month to set the astrolabe. You align it to north with the built in compass and when the date is set you can use it to find all the star positions. A fun toy :D

This is the coolest thing I've seen all day! How long did it take to make this piece of awesome?

Well, I've been wanting a real time keeping watch like that for some time now. So what do I have to do to get one? :p
